Telangana’s Finance Minister Assures Dharani Land Portal Issues Will Be

Resolved with Priority

Telangana government’s Dharani web portal for land related services has been giving a lot of
problems for users trying to avail the services offered on the portal. Tens of thousands of
grievances have been reported by users of Dharani land portal, most of these grievances have not
been resolved or addressed, which is causing farmers to make frequent rounds to Tahsildar &
District Collector offices. The Telangana government announced that it has decided to get all
issues resolved at the earliest, Mulugu mandal in Siddipet will be taken as a pilot project to
resolve all issues related to Dharani land portal completely.

Officers had a meeting in Mulugu this past Tuesday i.e., 14 th June 2022 upon Chief Minister K.
Chandrasekhar Rao’s directions to resolve Dharani portal issues quickly. The state’s Finance
Minister, Harish Rao said that the Dharani land portal is a revolutionary step in the state’s
advancement in revenue administration. The Minister admitted that mistakes that occurred
during the land records updating programme (LRUP) have caused problems in the data records
used by Dharani portal too.
Telangana’s Finance Minister added that all issues related to the Dharani land portal will be
resolved in a time-bound manner & urged farmers to not approach any middlemen seeking a
solution for their problems. Officials said there were suggestions to have 33 new modules to
overcome the existing problems on the portal. There are also several technical glitches in the
portal which need to ironed out so that users have a trouble-free experience.
